Workshops for Children
Ages 7 - 11

This workshop will focus on helping children learn the skills we need to cope with life's ups and downs. Children will learn that stress is a common everyday experience and is something they can learn to manage by applying some simple strategies.

Many children with social skills issues have trouble picking up on social cues. This often leads to misunderstanding people and situations, and in missing important social rules. This two part workshop  is designed to help children become social detectives. As a social detective, they'll learn in Part I, how social cues are signals people send through body language and expressions.

This workshop builds upon the previous Social Detective workshop. In Part II, children will learn how paying attention to social cues can help them better understand social situations.
