Ages 8 - 11
- Part I: Does your child have difficult monitoring his or her behavior? In Part I, children will learn how to identify and monitor their level of physical and mental activity. Thursday, February 6th, 2025, 6:00-7:30 pm
- Part II: Building upon the information presented in Part I, children are taught strategies for adjusting their level of physical and mental activity to better meet situational demands. Thursday, February 13th, 2025, 6:00-7:30 pm

- Part I:Designed to help children identify the signals that their bodies give when they are getting angry, the thoughts they have that increase or perpetuate their anger and their behavioral reactions when angry. Thursday, March 6th, 6:00-7:30 pm
- Part II: Building upon the information presented in the previous week, this workshop is designed to help children develop an effective anger management plan. This plan will include strategies for constructively expressing and diffusing anger. Attendance in Part I is required. Thursday, March 13th, 6:00-7:30 pm

- Part I: This workshop is designed to teach children more effective communication and problem-solving strategies. Children will use their new skills to identify common problems areas in their relationships and generate alternative ways of handling conflict. This is also a workshop for siblings who seem to argue relentlessly! Thursday, April 17th, 6:00-7:30 pm

Is your child being teased or bullied by other children? This workshop is designed to help children understand why other children (or they) engage in teasing/bullying and to help them learn the most effective means of responding to these behaviors.

Does your child appear to be on an emotional roller coaster? This workshop is designed to help children become more aware of their emotions and to provide them with a step-by-step plan for coping with sadness, worry, anger, loneliness, boredom, jealousy, frustration and confusion.
