Workshops for Children
Ages 8 - 11

• Part I:Designed to help children identify the signals that their bodies give when they are getting angry, the thoughts they have that increase or perpetuate their anger and their behavioral reactions when angry. Wednesday, May 8th, 5 pm - 6:15 pm
  
• Part II: Building upon the information presented in the previous week, this workshop is designed to help children develop an effective anger management plan. This plan will include strategies for constructively expressing and diffusing anger. Attendance in Part I is required. Wednesday, May 15th, 5 pm - 6:15 pm

• Part I: This workshop is designed to teach children more effective communication and problem-solving strategies. Children will use their new skills to identify common problems areas in their relationships and generate alternative ways of handling conflict. This is also a workshop for siblings who seem to argue relentlessly! Wednesday, May 22nd, 5 pm - 6:15 pm

• Part II: Building upon the information presented in the previous week, this workshop provides children and families a tool that can be used to resolve conflicts collaboratively. Attendance in Part I is required. Wednesday, May 29th, 5 pm - 6:15 pm
